La Cheetah Club :
Clearly one of our favourites, with a maximum capacity of 200 people, the Cheetah is perfect for a good night out and enjoying the music. One of the competitive advantages of the cheetah is clearly the proximity between the dj and the crowd. The ergonomic design of the room and the quality of the bass create a perfect mix.
The Cheetah Club opened in 2009, but its history goes back much further. The space was originally occupied by a pub called The 13th Note, which was a meeting place for local artists and musicians. In 2006, the owners decided to turn the space into a nightclub and began hosting electronic dance parties under the name The Cheetah Club.
Since then, the club has been a great success, attracting enthusiastic crowds every weekend. The music programme is varied, ranging from house and techno to disco and funk. The club also hosts themed nights, such as alternative music nights, LGBT nights and live music nights.
The Cheetah has become one of the four or five must-see clubs on the Glasgow scene.
If you are looking for a bigger club we can recommend The Sub club or Room 2.
- Proximity to the DJ
- Varied music
- Affordable price
- Intimate room
- Good security
- Small room, so can be oppressive when too many people are present
- Very hot inside the club

I'm going on an erasmus to Glasgow in a few months and I'm a techno fan. I was afraid there wouldn't be any good clubs in Glasgow but your article reassures me a lot, La Cheetah looks so cool! I can't wait to discover them in person!
